Got a bright idea? Pitch it at ONA09’s ‘6 in 60’

May 27, 2009 | By | Category: Schedule & Speakers

Calling all media entrepreneurs: Would you like to win 1:1 consultations with a venture capitalist and a product development expert who can help you bring your latest idea to life?

Then ONA09 has a special opportunity for you. Submit your idea to “6 in 60,” the demo-style pitch competition that will be featured at ONA09, Friday, Oct. 2, in San Francisco.

If you’re creating new mapping technology, a super hyper-local site, a new mobile platform, story-telling-related tech tools or anything cool and interesting in the online media space, this is your chance to get your start-up in front of a panel of distinguished judges moderated by entrepreneur Susan Mernit of Pink Garage and talent-wrangler Mark Briggs.

Who is eligible: Start-ups and new online media or media tool-set businesses less than 1 year old that have received less than $20,000 in angel funding (or no outside funding at all).

Who is judging: Our in-formation panel of distinguished judges will include two Bay-area venture capitalists, a successful media entrepreneur and a product developer or UX wiz.

For more information and to submit ideas, contact Susan Mernit at mernit [at] gmail [dot] com. To register for ONA09, visit ONAConference.org/register.
